Summer Pain IIi

  • Original

Description

Summer Pain juxtaposes the reality of children playing and a backdrop of a forthcoming, impending war in the Middle East.

The images, shot at the heart of Tel Aviv while the radio broadcasters worn from Iran becoming nuclear, deconstruct the experience of the summer: skateboarding, biking and playing in the sun, removing the drama of interaction with reality. As an ominous sign of an unknown future, the children know nothing more than the simplicity of their moments in isolation.
